Renewing Your License in South Carolina
South Carolina licenses are valid for 8 years and a standard renewal costs $25. U.S. citizens with a regular (Class D, E, F, G, M, or combinations) license, expired less than 9 months, no suspensions, no more than 5 points in the last 2 years, who didn't renew online or by mail last time, and who provide an electronic vision certification (or are active-duty military) may renew online with a valid credit/debit card.
