Terms of Use
Last updated: June 30, 2026
1. Acceptance
By using drivepermittest.com (and the es.drivepermittest.com Spanish variant), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the site.
2. License to use
Drive Permit Test is free for personal, non-commercial use. You may:
- Take unlimited practice tests for your own DMV exam preparation.
- Link to any page on drivepermittest.com.
- Embed our free quiz widget on your driving school, blog, or educational site (the "Powered by Drive Permit Test" credit must remain).
- Quote up to 200 words of any article with attribution + a link back to the source page.
3. What you may NOT do
- Scrape or automatically download our question pool for re-use on another site.
- Re-publish entire articles without permission.
- Modify the embed widget to remove the "Powered by Drive Permit Test" credit.
- Use the site to plan illegal driving activity, fraudulent DMV applications, or bypassing safety regulations.
- Run automated load tests / DDoS our infrastructure.
4. No warranty
Drive Permit Test practice questions are educational aids, not legal advice. Practice tests do not guarantee you will pass the actual DMV exam. Test format, question count, and passing score are based on official handbooks at the time of writing — state DMVs may change requirements without notice.
Always verify critical information (test fees, document requirements, hours of operation) with your state's official DMV/DPS/RMV before relying on it.
5. Third-party content
- Office data © OpenStreetMap contributors, used under the Open Database License.
- Road sign images sourced from Wikimedia Commons (US Federal Highway Administration MUTCD, public domain).
- Driver handbooks are public-domain US government works (per 17 U.S.C. § 105). Drive Permit Test does not claim copyright on the underlying handbook content; we re-distribute or link to official PDFs from your state DMV.
6. Limitation of liability
Drive Permit Test is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the site, including (but not limited to) failed DMV exams, missed appointments due to incorrect office hours, or DMV fees incurred for re-tests.
7. Changes to terms
We may update these terms. Material changes get an in-product banner notification. Continued use after a notice constitutes acceptance.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by US law. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of US courts.
