Hazmat (H Endorsement)
CDL endorsement required to transport placarded hazardous materials. Requires a TSA background check.
The H endorsement allows transport of hazardous materials in quantities requiring a placard (per DOT regulations). Holders must pass a written test plus the federal TSA Hazardous Materials Endorsement Threat Assessment, including fingerprints. Renewal every 5 years.
