Bring: One proof of identity (certified birth certificate or U.S. passport), two proofs of Wyoming residency (name and physical address, no P.O. boxes), and proof of Social Security number; name-change documents if applicable.
If you don't pass: No overall stated limit; the same written test may only be taken twice in one day.
Renewing Your License in Wyoming
Wyoming licenses are valid for 5 years and a standard renewal costs $35. Wyoming statute allows renewal by mail or online every other renewal (once per 10-year period); an in-person renewal with new photo and vision screening is required once every 10 years. CDL holders with Hazmat, non-U.S. citizens (unless permanent residents), and those needing updated photos are restricted.
